Accurate measurements
Accurate measurements help us deliver the correct fit - especially for coats and fur, where the silhouette and layering matter. Please measure with a soft tailor’s tape, standing naturally, and take each measurement snug but not tight (do not pull the tape). This approach mirrors standard apparel measurement guidelines used across premium ready-to-wear.
Before you start
Measure over a thin top (not a thick sweater), arms relaxed at your sides. If you are between sizes or plan to wear thicker layers, note it - outerwear typically needs ease for comfort and movement. Provide measurements in cm (or inches - please specify).
Measurements we need
Shoulder to Shoulder
Shoulder Width
This is the width across the upper back, from one shoulder tip to the other.
• Locate the shoulder tips (where a shoulder seam would sit).
• Measure straight across the back from one shoulder tip to the other.
Note: Keep shoulders relaxed - don’t pull them back or forward.
Chest / Bust
Bust Circumference
This is the circumference around the fullest part of the bust and across the shoulder blades.
• With arms at your sides, wrap the tape under the arms around the fullest part of the bust.
• Keep the tape level across the back (over the shoulder blades).
Note: The tape should lie flat and smooth - snug, not tight.
Overarm / Shoulder to Wrist
Sleeve Length
This is the length from the shoulder point down to the wrist, following the outside of the arm.
• Slightly bend your arm (natural position for outerwear).
• Measure from the shoulder point (where sleeve seam would begin) to the wrist bone.
Note: If you prefer a longer/shorter sleeve, mention your preferred finish point (e.g., wrist bone, slightly below wrist).
Back Length
Desired Coat/Fur Length
This is your preferred overall length from the back neck to the hem.
• Start at the base of the neck at the back.
• Measure straight down the center back to where you want the coat/ fur to end.
